VMF USA chapter was founded in 2008 by Sandeep, Naveen and Ananth. The founders were inspired by Vandemataram activities and the VMF leaders, Ravindra Rao garu, Madhav Reddy garu and Narsi Reddy garu. The VMF USA volunteer and donor group have been supporting programs like 10th class camp for more than 12 years and raise funds every year. The founders led the effort to gain non-profit status to the VMF USA chapter, which helped in getting generous matching contributions from US companies in USA. In their current roles, they provide guidance, raise funds, participate in the VMF USA board, and work closely with VMF India team and programs.
