Story Telling competition

*English Language Teachers' Association, Warangal Urban, Telangana* in association with *Vandemataram Foundation* conducts "National Level Story Telling Competition" to the students of all managements on the occasion of Children's Day (14.11.2020) with the purpose to Publish a *Bilingual E - book of stories*. 


*Love your Mother tongue and Acquire other tongues too*... 


All the selected stories will be published in "electronic book of Bilingual stories in two languages...

Students... Participate and prove your talent in story telling and writing. 


*Details of the competition* Things to be done by the participants

(1)

  • step 1: The students should make a video of telling their favourite stories either in Telugu, Hindi or English in not more than two minutes.
  • Step 2: Then make a soft copy of your story in MS Word file in the chosen language opted in step 1.
  • Step 3: Now the students should translate their story into another language i.e, in Telugu, Hindi or English. Then make a video of the story by not exceeding two minutes.
  • Step 4: Here you need to make a soft copy of translated story in MS Word file. See that the story shouldn't exceed 300 words.
  • Step 5: After completing 4 steps, the participants should send two videos and two scripts (One original and one translated each) to the organizers through WhatsApp.
  • Step 6: The participants should enclose and scan the relevant picture of the story and to be sent to the organizers.

  • Instructions to the participants while typing in the scripts:
  • For English :Times New Roman, font size 12 For Telugu /Hindi: Unicode font size 16

  • Whom to send your scripts and videos
  • The participants are suggested to send their scripts in two languages and videos to the following in category wise through WhatsApp only. 
  • *Sub-juniors category* : Participants of class 4 and 5 should send their script to Mrs. N. Kavitha(Telugu) @WhatsApp no. 9989925030, Md. Ifthekar Ali (Hindi) WhatsApp No. 8978697289

  • Prize money for the best stories - category wise
  • A cash award of 1,116/- each of 27 selected best stories category wise.

Conditions / Rules to be followed :

  1. See that there won't be any errors in your scripts. Follow the instructions mentioned above. Avoid pronunciation mistakes in your videos. It should be clear and audible.
  2. The participants should enter their details such as name, class, name of the school, address along with their WhatsApp numbers in Google forms issued by the organizers. (Link : http://bit.ly/2FSNeCn) The participants should also enclose self declaration and a passport size photo to be sent to the incharges category wise.
  3. One entry for one student ( i.e, 1 original story +translated story and 2 videos in two languages) only.
  4. Last date for sending your scripts and videos 14.11.2020.
  5. Presentation of cash award and winner details would be informed on phone. All the participants will be presented e-certificates.
  6. The students of all managements (Government and Private) can participate in this competition.
  7. All the teachers and parents are requested to encourage students to participate.
  8. The judges' decision will be final and no more transactions/arguments further.
